The South African government has introduced a new grant for the unemployed, which will provide them with R350 per month.The grant is intended to help those who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When was R350it introduced

The grant was announced on 23 March 2020, and it started on 1 April 2020. To apply for the R350 grant, you need to visit the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) website and fill out an application form.You will need to provide your name, address, contact details, and proof of identity.You will also need to provide proof that you are unemployed, such as a letter from your employer stating that you have been laid off.

How to check your 350 on your profile

You need to log in on your profile were you have registered it, you will be asked to provide with your personal details such as ID number and your cellphone number to open your profile and in that case every time when you want to check you will be asked to provide with those detail to check if is been approved or declined
